"Use our state-of-the-art rigs, or bring in your own PC or Mac" Just don't write it as MAC in the advert - mac users hate that - View image here:. *However* I think you should try to make sure that people are able to bring in *their own macs* to game, and make that fact known in adverts.

Many serious gamers who like macs have in fact built themselves a cheap game-only PC rig. I wouldn't say "typical!" and walk out! It's generally accepted even in the mac community that PC is where it's at for serious gaming. I'm a big mac fan but I wouldn't expect to find macs in an environment like that. comes to mind as an example of the incompatible games. But there are a few (annoying) exceptions. Most games that are available on mac, are mac / pc compatible. Then I'll keep a tally on the interest of it and decide later if we should stick a few in. So I'm just going to "ditch" the mac idea in general and wait for someone to walk in or call and ask if we have Macs. I really hate that concept and it's very true (I do it at work, there's no room to upgrade, they change techs completely every FREAKING year and nothing is compatible. They're notorious for their "upgrade" policy of "throw it away and start over". So no abuse will happen out of sight and due to our physical size, I doubt anyone would try to damage anything for fun anyhow - View image here:. There's nothing "out of sight" to me, it's a small LAN (20 stations or so). Trivial - View image here: -īut as far as this place, all computers are in a large squarish room where I can see each and every person (from the corner) and overlook it all constantly. apple+option+ctrl+click wouldn't be hard if you got used to it either, or difficult to remember once used. It's not hard to learn anything, if you've been doing it for a while. As die-hard 5-button as I am (and PC), I have to agree with the last two posts - View image here:.
